Triund is a great trek for beginners, and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. It’s nestled in the Dhauladhar mountains of the Kangra Valley, and the trek begins in the lively town of McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh. The path is easy to follow, with plenty of places to take breaks and small cafes along the way, ensuring your first trek is a comfortable one. Triund trek makes for a perfect weekend escape from Delhi.

DAY 01: Delhi to Mcleodganj Overnight Volvo Bus

Time : 7:00 pm : Catch the evening luxury bus from Delhi and enjoy a comfortable ride to the hills. Get some rest on the way as you gear up for one of the best adventures of your life!

DAY 02: Trek to Triund Top (9 km)

Upon reaching McLeod Ganj early in the morning, we set out for the trek from our office. The journey starts from McLeod Ganj, the home of the Dalai Lama, and spans 9 kilometers uphill. The trek takes about 4-5 hours, with lunch served along the way. The ascent is relatively easy, with a few steep sections, and offers magnificent views throughout. Upon reaching the top of Triund, we explore the ridge before returning to our campsite, located 1 kilometer below the ridge. Dinner awaits to warm us against the evening winds, leaving us with content tummies and hearts full of joy amidst such picturesque scenery.

DAY 03: Triund to Mcleodganj; Mcleodganj Sightseeing and back to Delhi

We rise early to witness an awe-inspiring sunrise over the snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountains. Following breakfast, we commence our descent, which proves to be smoother and quicker than the ascent. Upon returning to McLeod Ganj, you have the freedom to explore the city and its vibrant markets, offering a variety of treasures like healing crystal jewelry and colorful yak wool garments. Finally, we board the evening Volvo bus to Delhi, carrying with us cherished memories from this short yet unforgettable journey.

*You will reach Delhi the next morning around 6 am.

Remember, climbers can only bring up to 15 kg of personal luggage for all climbs.
Make sure to keep your cameras, whether they’re for video or film, safe from the cold by storing them in a warm pouch or the inside pockets of your clothing. Avoid keeping your camera in your backpack at higher elevations.
We don’t offer donkeys or porters to carry luggage.
We don’t provide insurance during the trek.
Please carry your daily personal rubbish with you to the next camp while moving between camps.

Aspirins and Paracetamols are good options for headaches as they also help thin the blood, improving circulation and oxygen delivery to the body. However, strong painkillers are not recommended as they can suppress breathing.
We do not entertain any personal expenses.

  • Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing.

  • A woollen hat for warmth.
  • Pocket knife for utility.
  • Torch for visibility.
  • Lip balm to prevent dryness.
  • Earplugs (Optional) for added comfort.
  • Spare contact lenses or glasses if needed.
  • Thermal innerwear for added warmth.
  • Extra polythene bags for various purposes.
  • A whistle for signaling.
  • Entertainment options like reading materials, games, or cards (Optional).
  • Lightweight and quick-dry towel.
  • Track pants with multiple pockets (carry at least 2 pairs, avoid jeans).
  • Waterproof jackets and gloves for unpredictable weather conditions.
  • Raincoat (Optional) for additional protection against rain.
  • Identification proof such as Passport, Driving license, Aadhar card, etc.
  • 1 Passport size photograph.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of tour booking 31 days or more before the Departure date will incur a 20% deduction in the tour cost.
Cancellation of tour booking 21-30 days before the Departure date will incur a 40% deduction of the tour cost.
Cancellation of tour booking 11-20 days before the Departure date will incur a 60% deduction of the tour cost.
Cancellation of tour booking 6-10 days before the Departure date will incur a 80% deduction of the tour cost.
Cancellation of tour booking 1-5 days before the Departure date will incur a 100% deduction of the tour cost.
