Chandrashila Peak and Deoria Tal Trek

04 Day/ 03 Night       Tour Code : Track - 01 x

Chandrashila Peak is a popular and easy trek in Uttarakhand. It’s especially lovely to visit during summertime, but the last week of December is also a great option. During this time, you can see rhododendron flowers in full bloom, adding a beautiful contrast to the snow from winter. Locally known as buransh, these flowers are used to make chutneys, jams, and juices. Along the trail, you’ll have amazing views of the snow-covered Garhwal Himalayas. Bird watchers will also enjoy this trek, especially during spring, as you can spot various birds like the Blue Throated Barbet, Long Tailed Minivet Female, Chestnut Bellied Rock Thrush, Himalayan Bulbul, and Yellow-Billed Blue Magpie. From the summit of Chandrashila Peak, you’ll have a breathtaking view of all the Himalayan peaks from West to East Uttarakhand, making it an unforgettable experience. With its colorful flowers, stunning mountain vistas, and diverse birdlife, this trek is truly delightful!

The steep path takes us to the hilltop, where we’re greeted by the majestic Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch, and Chaukhamba. We begin our trek on a well-marked rocky trail from Sari, with the towering summits of Ravanshila and Chandrashila visible at the end of the valley.
